Ballet & Dance Tights, in plain words

A dance pair is a different object from a fashion pair. The knit is a soft 40 denier microfiber that goes with the leg through a plié. The waistband is wide and flat so nothing digs during floor work.

The foot has an opening under the arch. Roll it back and you have a footless pair for a pointe shoe fitting or a barefoot class. Roll it forward and you have a footed pair for the shoe. That opening is what convertible means, and most of the MANZI dance bench uses it.

Dance tights do not come in the sheer scale, and they do not have a control top. The colours are the studio colours: ballet pink, light suntan, suntan, and the deeper tones that match more legs than a single pink ever did. Girls' dance pairs sit on their own bench, sized by age.

Fit on this bench

Adult dance sizes run S/M and M/L, L/XL on some styles, by height and weight. Between sizes take the smaller one: a dance pair is meant to fit close, and the microfiber gives more than a sheer.
